DISCOVER THE FUNDAMENTALS: BARBERING

Our 7-month barbering course covers all major aspects of the craft, including theory, core skills and a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of barbering. This course is not only aimed at improving your skill as a barber, but it will also provide a solid foundation to better your business acumen too. Gain hands-on experience practicing the fundamentals of the field, as well as relationship building, time management, retailing and successful communication.

You’ll undergo 1000 hours of classwork and hands-on training that provides every student with theory and technical instruction in barbering procedures and client relations.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS PROGRAM

Barbers are the backbone of the men’s grooming industry. Our program prepares you to deliver a wide range of services specializing in haircuts, shaves, and hair care. In addition to hands-on client skills, you’ll gain valuable knowledge in the fundamentals of business and professional practice within the barbering industry.

CUTTING

Gain mastery with scissors, clippers, and razors. You’ll learn how to analyze hair type and face shape, execute fades, layering, tapering, and classic styles, turning every client’s vision into reality.

STYLING

Move beyond cuts into finishing artistry. Practice blowouts, pomades, texturizing, and detailing to deliver polished, lasting looks for today’s clients.

GROOMING

Be more than a haircut specialist. Develop skills in beard shaping, mustache design, trimming, and hygiene standards for facial hair. You’ll deliver full grooming packages that keep clients coming back.

STRAIGHT

RAZOR WORK

Safe and confident razor use separates a good barber from a great one. You’ll train in straight razor techniques for shaves, beard outlines, neck cleans, and precision detailing.

COLORING

Add color to your toolset. You’ll learn to work safely with color formulations, blending, highlights, grey coverage, and toning, so you can expand your service menu and cater to diverse client needs.

TUITIONS & FEES

1000 Hours

  • 1000 Hours of theory, training and tecnical instruction:

  • FULL TIME: 7 months completition.

  • PART-TIME PLUS: 11.5 months completition.

  • PART-TIME: 16 months completition.

    Must be at least 17 years old and have a valid High School Diploma / GED, Valid US-issued ID, and Social Security Card to apply.
